Trump and the rule of law. Furthermore, it announced the formation of a task force designed to assist individuals in making claims to the fund.

The fund is expected to provide financial assistance and legal support to individuals who faced ruinous legal bills, employment consequences, reputational harm, and personal devastation during years of unprecedented political targeting at the hands of politically motivated prosecutors, like Jack Smith.

Zimolong said the creation of the fund represents an important acknowledgment that countless ordinary Americans were swept up in politically charged campaigns designed solely to intimidate dissent, silence opposition, and punish political opponents.
